I am very slowly transferring over content from my old and very long standing OCD site Doubt and Other Disorders in the process of doing that I have discovered I neglected to date a lot of the entries. With some uh, digging I will be able to reconstruct the rough dates of most of it but for now they are all getting the date of 01/01/1996 which was roughly when the site in its current form was put up.

I am not taking down the old girl just mirroring content here under the general tag of Doubt and Other Disorders over there on the right.

It was about time to upgrade WordPress to the latest edition and while I was at that I thought why not change the theme. So I did.

Actually this design (which more then likely will be slowing evolving over the next few weeks/months) started out as a really nice clean and attractive theme called MistyLook , which was fixed width and somewhere along the way as I as playing with it I decided to go fluid and this is the result.

You may be familiar with  humorist David Sedaris from his public radio commentaries.  A couple of years ago I stage managed a production of the play version of his Santaland Diaries, in which he chronicle’s his adventures as a Macy’s Christmas Elf.  Very funny stuff.

He also has OCD.  In the reading linked below he takes you inside his world as a child with OCD.

Listen to Sedaris read “A Plague of Tics” from his collection “Naked.”
